I can see the light at the end of the tunnel...

Or is that a train???

It brings me great joy to talk about an up and coming new title... Since mid July 2011 we have been working on an iOS game with the working title "Flip the Bird". This is being done in a collaboration with seasoned app veteran Chad Towns, founder of Appsomniacs, and was to be released later October - early November (as far as wishful plans go, but officially it will be released when it is done.) Release or not, the work is going forward at a quickening pace.

Frankly, It's coming along nicely and quickly! "Flip the Bird" will be a typical "distance throw" style game (I.E., see how far you can get Flip to go.) We have most of the game put together. Lots of tweaking of play to create balance between the different "travel" modes, several graphical and performance tasks remain, but just recently it really started to feel like a game. Which is to say the least... EXCITING! ;)

And the vision becomes a reality!

The graphics are stunning (That is an opinionated relative bias, since it is way better than I could produce on my own that IS for certain.) Working with both Mulch Media (Meredith Cook) and Appsomniacs (Chad Towns) has produced some outstanding fall forest scenery and characters. Now I better get back to work or the fall scenery is in risk of being outdated before we launch!

When I said if you don't see any posts from us I really did mean we are working... I meant it!!!

As always, your input is always welcome! (the constructive bits anyway ;)

Something good is brewing!

I have teamed up with Chad Towns (and hopefully Meredith Cook!) and entered into an adventure to create an iOS game app!

Chad Towns is a grizzled app developer and the founder of Appsomniacs and we will likely rope in Meredith Cook aka Mulch Media into this to assist with hope of getting some fine graphics support from her.

We will let you know how this all turns out... ;) That being said, keep in mind this is an after hours part time adventure. So it could be a relatively long wait between posts to get updates. Silence just means we are working (or wandered off to chase a shiny... but hopefully not...) Mid September is a tentative release goal... but a lot could happen between now and then...
